POSTING A JOB AND GETTING QUOTES
How do I post my Job?
  • It’s EASY – click POST A JOB at the top of any page on the Website!
  • Just enter a few details about the Job that you would like done using our simple template and we will do all the hard work to help you find the Best Local Person for the Job
  • You can also upload up to 10 images (format: JPG/JPEG, GIF, PNG or BMP) to help Service Providers better understand your requirements.  Any image that you upload will be viewable on the Website as part of your job listing
  • We take your privacy very seriously! In order to protect your privacy and avoid unsolicited calls or spam e-mail, please do not put any contact details or sensitive information in your initial Job description – this is effectively a public part of the Website! (Customers have the opportunity to provide contact details / sensitive information to Service Providers at a later stage)
  • Schedule your job - you can let Service Providers know the exact timing when you would like the job that you have posted to be doneof the job


How much does it cost to post my Job?

  • NOTHING – for Customers, the service is absolutely FREE!
  • All we ask in return is that you leave a FlowJob Star Rating and any feedback for the Service Provider once the Job is completed in order to help you and others to find the Best Local Person for the Job next time you use FlowJob

 

How long does it take to post my Job?

  • It only takes a couple of minutes to post your Job and activate your account! Compare that to finding, phoning and getting quotes from people in old-fashioned directories, which can take hours!
  • Once you have used FlowJob and seen the value it adds to its Users, you will soon wonder “why didn’t we think of this before?!

 

 What happens after I post my Job? 

  • Once you have posted your Job and it has been approved by a FlowJob Administrator, a description of your Job will be sent by e-mail and SMS to a large number of relevant Service Providers in our FlowJob Directory (while waiting for your Job to be approved by FlowJob, you can also search the FlowJob Directory and select Service Providers that you would especially like us to invite to quote on your Job)
  • You should receive a number of quotes for your Job or questions from Service Providers requesting more details (you will be alerted by e-mail when this happens - to review the quotes or respond to the questions, simply log-on to your FlowJob account)
  • By logging-on to your FlowJob account, you will have the option to
    • Review your Job / edit the Job description
    • Engage with Service Providers that have any questions about the Job, including swapping contact details, via the FlowJob Messaging System
      • We recommend that you carry out all communication with Service Providers through the FlowJob Messaging System as it allows you to keep a written record of your communications, should there be any later confusion, for free!
    • Review all price quotes and FlowJob Star Ratings of Service Providers that have quoted for the Job 
    • Hire a Service Provider by clicking on “AGREED QUOTE”

 

How long will my Job posting appear on the FlowJob marketplace? 

  • When you post a Job, the timeframe for the Job that you choose will determine how long it stays open for quotes (most Jobs find an agreed quote well in advance of the closing date for the Job), as follows:
    • As soon as possible! = Now + 7 days
    • Within a few days = Now + 10 days
    • Within a few weeks = Now + 28 days
    • A specific date = Specified End Date
  • Please note that once your Job is closed to new quotes you will still be able to communicate with Service Providers who have already expressed an interest in your Job

 

How long does it take to get quotes for my Job?

  • The length of time that it takes to receive quotes depends on how specialised the Job is and how much detail you provide when you post your Job
  • We aim to connect you with the Best Local Person as soon as possible
  • You may receive messages from Service Providers over our simple-to-use FlowJob Messaging System, asking for more details on the Job before quotes can be given 

 

How many quotes should I get for my Job?

  • Ideally, you will receive several quotes upon which to base your decision to hire the Best Local Person
  • The more detailed the Job description you leave, the more able Service Providers will be to give you a comprehensive quote


Is there a minimum quote value that Service Providers must bid?
 

  • NO – unlike other marketplaces, we do not charge Service Providers any Lead or Success Fees, therefore, there is no minimum Job size!

 

Can I request a quote from a specific Service Provider?  

  • SURE! If you wish, you can directly access our FlowJob Directory and search through the thousands of Service Providers registered with FlowJob
  • To make it easy, there is a “QUOTE ME” feature on all Service Provider’s profiles in the FlowJob Directory. After requesting a quote, you can privately and securely communicate with the Service Provider using the FlowJob Messaging System

 
How will I know when I have received a quote or a message?   

  • Once you have received a quote or a Service Provider is messaging you using our simple-to-use FlowJob Messaging System, an e-mail will be sent to your registered e-mail address to notify you in real time
  • Alternatively, just log-on to your FlowJob account regularly to easily check the status of your Jobs 

 

ACCEPTING A QUOTE AND HIRING A SERVICE PROVIDER

How do I choose the best Service Provider for the Job? 

      • Each time you receive a quote from a Service Provider, you will be provided with the FlowJob Star Rating and any feedback left by previous Customers based on (a) Quality of Work, (b) Value-for-Money and (c) Reliability and Trustworthiness

      • You will also be able to review their profile on our FlowJob Directory, which may contain photos and videos of Jobs previously completed, as well as details of qualifications, accreditations, years of experience and previous (non-FlowJob) customer’s testimonials (which have been verified by us)

      • You will also be able to easily compare Service Providers based on the price they have quoted for your Job

Do FlowJob perform background checks on Service Providers?

  • No, we do not perform background checks on Service Providers prior to joining FlowJob
  • We do not personally endorse the Service Providers on FlowJob
  • We believe that our FlowJob Star Ratings System and competitive quoting process form the best way to ensure the highest possible quality at the lowest possible price
  • For further assurances, each Service Provider’s profile in the FlowJob Directory contains a, ‘Accreditations and Insurance’ section – we recommend that you ask your Service Provider to prove these credentials before work on your Job commences  


Why should I hire a Service Provider through the FlowJob online marketplace

  • First of all, it’s MUCH EASIER than old-fashioned directories! Secondly, the FlowJob helps you
    • Save Time!
    • Save Money!
    • Find the Best Local Person for the Job!
  • We recommend that you perform all of your Communication with potential Service Providers through the easy-to-use FlowJob Messaging System so that if there is any dispute about the price quote for the Job or any of the work required to be done, you will have a record of the communication with the Service Provider and you will be able to hold them accountable
  • We restrict any Service Providers from quoting through the FlowJob marketplace that have been reported and evidenced to us as engaging in malpractice


Do I need to inform the other Service Providers that they did not get the Job?

  • No, we will take care of that hassle for you!

How does the FlowJob Star Ratings System work?

  • The FlowJob Star Ratings System is at the heart of the FlowJob community
  • Unlike other old-fashioned directories or marketplaces, our FlowJob Star Ratings only allows genuine Customers that have found their Service Provider through FlowJob to leave a FlowJob Star Rating or any feedback
  • The FlowJob Star Ratings System
    • helps Customers to make an informed decision; and
    • rewards excellent customer service by helping the Best Local Person stand out from the crowd
  • The FlowJob Star Ratings System is based on the following pillars of good customer service
    • Quality of Work
    • Value for Money
    • Reliability and Trustworthiness
    • Average FlowJob Star Rating (based on the above)
  • Occasionally, we will connect you with a Service Provider that is new to FlowJob and is seeking to build up their FlowJob Star Rating. In this case, we recommend that you check the Service Provider’s listing in the FlowJob Directory for details of any feedback from some of the Service Provider’s previous Customers (if present, these should have been verified by a FlowJob Administrator)
  • Any Service Provider caught trying to play the system will be permanently removed from the Website

 

Why should I leave a FlowJob Star Rating? 

  • If a Service Provider knows that you will be giving him a FlowJob Star Rating for future Customers to see, he will be accountable and incentivised to do a good Job for you
  • By providing a FlowJob Star Rating, you are helping yourself and other Customers to ensure that they find the Best Local Person for the Job
  • Furthermore, we believe in rewarding good work and we are here to help high quality local Service Providers find more work where they deserve it. By providing a FlowJob Star Rating and leaving detailed feedback, you will enhance a Service Provider’s prospects to gain further work through FlowJob and you will be joining us in Getting Ireland Back to Work!
  • We recommend that you also leave detailed feedback after every FlowJob using our FlowJob Star Ratings System


When should I leave a FlowJob Star Rating?

  • Once the Service Provider has completed your Job, you should log-on to your FlowJob account and provide a FlowJob Star Rating (see below for how to leave a FlowJob Star Rating and any feedback)
  • In case you forget, we will automatically remind you to provide a FlowJob Star Rating
  • Service Providers also have the option to remind Customers to provide a FlowJob Star Rating where they have not yet done so


[How do I leave a FlowJob Star Rating and any feedback for my Service Provider? 

  • It’s QUICK and EASY! Just follow these five simple steps
    • Log-in to FlowJob using your Username and Password
    • Open the relevant Job in your account
    • Click on “AGREE QUOTE” (if not done so already)
    • Click on “RATE MY SERVICE PROVIDER” – score your Service Provider out of 5 stars in each category and leave any other feedback that you think is relevant for other Customers by filling in the text box
    • Click on “SUBMIT MY FLOWJOB STAR RATING” and you are done!
  • Please note that Service Providers are also able to leave ratings on Customers for the benefit of future Service Providers]


What makes a good FlowJob Star Rating?

  • A good FlowJob Rating
    • is a fair Rating
    • is impartial and unbiased
    • reflects your genuine views on the overall quality of customer service provided
  • Remember that a bad FlowJob Star Rating can impact a Service Provider’s prospects of gaining further work through FlowJob, so it is important to only be critical where criticism is fair and due


What should not be included in FlowJob feedback?

  • Comments that do not relate to the Job
  • Personal contact details
  • Unprofessional, inappropriate or offensive remarks

 

MANAGING MY JOBS

What should I do if I have enough quotes?

  • If you have already accepted a quote by clicking “AGREE QUOTE”, then the Job will automatically be closed to new quotes

 
If I post a Job, am I obliged to accept a quote from a Service Provider? 

  • NO! We are here to Get Ireland Back to Work, but if you do not like any of the quotes received, then you can simply remove your Job posting from the Website


How can I remove my Job posting from the Website? 

  • Just follow these three simple steps
    • Log-in to FlowJob using your Username and Password
    • Open the relevant Job in your account
    • Click on ‘CANCEL JOB’

How can I reset my password? 

  • Go to your My Account section and simply click on Change Password

 
Can I send you suggestions for improving the Website?

  • YES PLEASE!
    • We are always very pleased to receive feedback, positive or negative, and we welcome suggestions on how to make our service better. We are constantly updating our Website and your input is a critical part of helping shape our online community

Is my personal information safe? 
 

  • FlowJob does not divulge any of your contact details on the Website – unless you instruct us to do so 
  • Any communication of your contact details will take place securely via the FlowJob Messaging System, which allows you to share your contact details with specific Service Providers, as you please
  • Unlike other lead-generation websites, we do not sell your personal contact details to third parties, so with us you will not be bothered by spam e-mails or unsolicited phone calls!!
